On 4th February the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Sub-Committee in the UK announced that it will be holding a series of short inquiries on animal welfare over the course of this Parliament and are inviting written submissions.

The first inquiry focuses on domestic pets, including cats, dogs and horses and is due by 17th March 2016.
