AIA’s Barbara Gardner to Talk at ‘One Jain’ Conference

AIA’s Barbara Gardner will be talking about the work of the Animal Interfaith Alliance at the One Jain Conference at the Colindale Centre on Sunday 1 November at 5.30pm.  The centre is at 63 – 68 Colindale Avenue, London, NW9 5DR.  All Welcome!

The Jains are playing a significant role with the Animal Interfaith Alliance, whose President is the Jain, Satish Kumar, editor-in-chief of Resurgence magazine, who undertook a Global Peace Walk when he was a former Jain monk.  Both the Institute of Jainology (IoJ) and the Oshwal Association of the UK (OAUK) are member organisations of AIA, which also has Jain directors and patrons.
