Happy Feast of St Francis & World Animal Day!

Today is the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals.  It is also World Animal Day.  Many churches are celebrating with animal welfare and animal blessing services. We should remember and pray for all animals, especially those suffering in factory farms, in research laboratories and those being used for entertainment.
