EuARe 2023
In June 2023, AIA joined our member organisation, Pan-Orthodox Concern for Animals (POCA) to present at the European Academy of Religion’s (EuARe) 2023 conference at St Andrews University in Scotland. Organised by POCA, the title was ‘Creation Care and Christian Responsibility’ to which AIA added an interfaith section on extending the Golden Rule to animals. Our objective was to put animals on their agenda. Full details can be read on the POCA website here.
EuARE 2024
Next year’s conference is being held in Palermo, Italy from 20-23 May 2024 and we hope to attend and present on animals there. Details of the 2024 conference can be read here.
